I started Ecuador Translations because I know firsthand how frustrating it is to navigate document requirements in a foreign country.

When I went through the Ecuador visa process, I ran into the same wall every expat hits: figuring out which documents needed translations, what kind of certification each agency required, and finding translators who understood Ecuador's system. Generic translation services produced technically accurate translations that got rejected because they weren't formatted the way the Cancilleria or SENESCYT expected.

After helping hundreds of expats through the visa process at EcuaPass.com, I saw the same translation problems come up again and again. Documents getting bounced back. Deadlines missed. Expats paying twice for translations that should have been done right the first time.

So I built Ecuador Translations as a certified translations company specializing in documents for Ecuador visas. Our standard service includes certified translation. If you need your translation prepared by a Perito translator licensed by Ecuador's judiciary, that service costs extra and is quoted separately before you pay. Notarization is not included.
